At It's Yoga, we understand that not every body is the same. Thus, we offer several styles of yoga [read more] to meet your changing needs:
Classes marked with ** are recommended for first-time yoga students. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for classes marked with this symbol: .
HATHA YOGA All Fitness Levels
Influenced by the heart-centered teachings and Universal Principles of Alignment of Anusara Yoga.
**BEGINNER DROP-IN
For students with little or no yoga experience. Also recommended
for more experienced students who are unfamiliar with the Universal
Principles of Alignment.
BEGINNER VINYASA
A slower moving Vinyasa class for Beginner students. An excellent class for Beginner Series Graduates to try.
**HATHA BEGINNERS YOGA SERIES
An eight-week course for students with little or no yoga experience.
Cost is $95 for eight weeks. Pre-registration & pre-payment
required.

INTERMEDIATE
Designed for students with a regular practice and a strong understanding
of the Universal Principles of Alignment. We practice all classes
of postures including handstands, arm balances, backbends and
forward bends.
NIA
55 minutes of a body-mind-spirit fitness and lifestyle practice. Through expressive movement—the body’s way—Nia empowers people to achieve physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
YOGALATES
Combining the core work of Pilates with the flow of a vinyasa yoga class, this class lengthens at it tones muscles, addressing alignment and strength issues of the abdomen and low back.

ASHTANGA & VINYASA YOGA Athletic
Types
A vigorous and challenging style of yoga that links postures
and breath to build heat, flexibillity, strength and mental focus.
** ASHTANGA BEGINNER SERIES
An eight-week course for new students in good fitness. Cost is $95 for eight weeks. Pre-registration & pre-payment required.

MODIFIED PRIMARY
SERIES
A modification of the Primary Series of Ashtanga yoga that moves more slowly than the full series, with challenging postures eliminated. Suitable for students in good fitness with some yoga experience.
MODIFIED PRIMARY PLUS
A modification of the Modified Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga that moves at a quicker pace with some additional poses selected from the full PrimarySeries. Suitable for students in good fitness with some yoga experience.
PRIMARY SERIES
A traditional Ashtanga sequence of 72 postures that focuses on forward bends and detoxifying the body. Suitable for students with a good understanding of the Modified Primary.
MIXED LEVELS VINYASA
A Vinyasa practice welcoming students from experienced beginner
to advanced levels, that builds endurance and strength. Each teacher
may have a different focus or feel to their class. Variations
are given to accommodate students of all levels.

SPECIALTY YOGA CLASSES
YIN
YOGA
A yoga practice that targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Yin Postures are typically held for 3 to 5 minutes and is a great compliment to more muscular styles of yoga.
COMMUNITY YOGA
A class taught by our teacher trainees that will a variety of Hatha or Ashtanga depending on the current curriculum.
YOGASSAGE
uses a blend of vinyasa, hatha, yin, restorative yoga, and acupressure points to energize and rejuvenate the mind-body.
KIDS YOGA
Reading, storytelling, music, creative art, and earth care blending seamlessly with Yoga for children ages 3-5. Pre-registration required.
TEEN YOGA
A Yoga practice designed for teens to help students connect with their inner being and develop a mind-body connection that will help them tackle unique struggles and challenges of teen-age years and the years that follow. Pre-registration required.
