Kids Yoga! For Children Ages 3-5

Mondays, 10:15 - 11:00am
Reading, storytelling, music, creative arts, and earthcare blend seamlessly with yoga movement to educate the “whole” child. Kids Yoga is an avenue for children to increase the flexibility and strength of their bodies, and the awareness of their minds and hearts.
Children who practice yoga:
- Develop strong and limber bodies
- Set a lifelong foundation for well being
- Relax and sleep better
- Cope with stress more effectively
- Increase focus, concentration, and attention span
- Learn about anatomy and physiology
- Discover a sense of awareness and respect for themselves and the world around them
About the Instructor
Kim has been practicing yoga for over 8 years and recently earned her certification to teach yoga to children with YogaKids. She takes an integrative approach to teaching kids about various subjects such as reading, anatomy, and music while they learn basic yoga techniques in fun, creative ways. Kim believes that each child is beautifully unique and through movement, creative expression, and fostering a love of learning, she is committed to empowering children of all ages and setting a lifelong foundation for their well-being!
