Beginners Series for New Students
It's
Yoga welcomes new students of all types. Because yoga works
slowly over time to heal and awaken the body-mind, it's important
that new students have a complete introduction. Thus, we highly
recommend that new students attend one of our Beginners Series
courses.
We have two styles of Beginner Series (8 week courses):

Ashtanga Beginners
Yoga Series
Thursdays 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm
Sundays 11:45 am - 1:00 pm
This a vigorous & aerobic practice well-suited to athletic types
or to students with some yoga experience who want a more physically
challenging practice. You will learn how to flow through a set sequence
of postures using techniques that stoke the inner fire and promote
weight loss and mental fortitude.

Hatha Beginners Yoga
Series
Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:15 pm & 8:30-9:45 am
Saturdays 8:30 - 9:45 am
Inspired by the heart-centered teachings of Anusara Yoga, this Hatha
yoga series is well-suited to those who want a slower and more detailed
approach to learning yoga postures. Students will learn the Universal
Principles of Alignment (of Anusara yoga) and how to apply them
in all classes of postures.
